Public Outreach Events & Committee Calendar
Per Council direction under Resolution R-122-19, the City’s Comprehensive Plan update will be drafted for consideration of adoption in Spring 2020. This page summarizes public input opportunities and upcoming events or meetings. The community wide input meetings and open house occurred in October and November 2019. Below are additional tentative dates for public meetings at which the Comprehensive Plan may be discussed. Public comment may still be provided under public appearances at these meetings. Please also reference the City’s calendar of public events and the "Agendas & Minutes" page for up-to-date information and official meeting content.

- January 14, 2020 Council Referral of Adoption Ordinance 2020-O-05
- January 21, 2020 Public hearing and potential action by the Plan Commission
- Committee of the Whole January 22 - Informational presentation, no scheduled action
- 30 day public comment period following publication of Class 1 Notice for Public Hearing for Public Hearing at Council
- March 10, 2020 - Public Hearing and Potential Council Adoption of Plan

Neighborhood Information Meetings and Listening Sessions
Various neighborhood information meetings and listening sessions were held throughout the second half of 2019. Staff and neighborhood partners facilitated a public meeting within each of the areas per the dates listed in the table below.
A city-wide open house was held on November 20, 2019 at 6:30 pm in the City Hall Council Chambers (click here for agenda).
