McGaw Park Neighborhood Plan Adoption & Implementation
The McGaw Park Neighborhood Plan, adopted June 9, 2009 and amended on August 26, 2014, is part of the Fitchburg Comprehensive Plan as an amendment to Appendix A. The neighborhood plan analyzes the natural resources environment, parks and open space, transportation and connectivity, stormwater management and utilities, land use, and integration with existing areas. The plan is to provide a rational basis for decision-making by the city when the private sector proposes a development / redevelopment opportunity within the proposed neighborhood and or concurrent with the expansion of the Urban Service Boundary. The plan is also a guide for public infrastructure planning and investment.Stormwater Requirements:
Stormwater requirements for the McGaw neighborhood are more restrictive than those noted in the Neighborhood Plan document. Please see CARPC urban service adjustment approval resolution for more information.Copies of the Comprehensive Plan
