Library Cards

Library CardGet your Fitchburg Public Library card by completing a card application and visiting the library in person. Please bring a photo I.D. and proof of residence.

Identification Options
A driver's license with current residence is the easiest way to apply. If you do not have that, we will accept photo ID plus:
  • Checkbook with name and current address
  • Current lease with name and address
  • Piece of mail if the envelope has your name, current address, and a postmark dated within the last 30 days
If your identification has a P.O. box or business address, you must still show proof of your current home address.
