The Fitchburg Recreation Department strives to provide quality recreation program opportunities for all Fitchburg Residents.  The Department has two full-time staff, various seasonal staff & program instructors, and countless volunteer coaches who provide recreation opportunities.

Don't wait until the last minute to register for a program. If we don't have the minimum enrollment 5 business days before the start of a program, it will be cancelled. 

Enrollment Confirmation

Once you have enrolled plan on attending all listed days and times. All online program registrations are accompanied by email receipts, but we cannot guarantee they will reach your inbox. Contact us if you wish to verify your registration or ask questions. We will only contact participants if a program has been changed or cancelled.

Program Transfers

Transfers from one program to another may be made before the program starts. 

Late Registrations

After a program has started we may be able to accept late registrations. Program fees will not be prorated if registering late.

Program Cancellation/Refund Policy

A full refund or credit will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department.

If you need to withdraw from a program, then you must notify the Recreation Department at least 5 business days before the program starts.  There will be a $5 administrative fee deducted per program from your refund. 

No refunds will be given if you withdraw out of an activity less than 5 business days from the start date.

Please note online convenience fees are non-refundable.

Photo Policy

Fitchburg Recreation reserves the right to utilize photos of participants for publicity purposes. Participants not wanting their photo used must notify the Department at the time of registration.
