On Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at approximately 8:59 p.m., the Fitchburg Police Department investigated a shots fired incident in the 2800 block of Coho Street. A Fitchburg Police Officer was patrolling the neighborhood when they heard the sounds of three gunshots.
Officers investigating the incident determined that possibly three male subjects were standing next to an apartment building in the 2800 block of Coho Street and that one of them fired the shots. Witnesses described two of the subjects as fleeing the area in a red Chevrolet Cruz with a broken taillight and the third subject fleeing in a black or dark colored 2-door car. The subjects were described by witnesses as 18-20 year old black males with slim builds, one wearing a gray sweatshirt.
