On Monday, December 9, 2019, at 3:37 p.m., officers from the Fitchburg Police Department responded to the Associated Bank at 3002 Fish Hatchery Road for a robbery that had just occurred. Officers discovered that a single suspect had entered the bank and made a demand for money from one of the tellers using an implied threat. After receiving money from the teller he immediately fled from the bank on foot.
None of the bank employees were injured during this incident and the investigation is ongoing.

Suspect Information:
The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, late 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’5” tall with a medium build, dark colored beard, and was wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants or jeans, and black shoes. He also may have had a bandage on his left hand.
