Bike commuters are invited to stop for coffee, food, giveaways and a bike tune-up from Fitchburg Cycles on Tuesday, June 9th between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. at Fitchburg’s bike commuter station. The commuter station is part of Wisconsin Bike Week’s events and will be located at the bike path roundabout near the convergence of Badger State and Capitol City trails and Military Ridge, Cannonball and Southwest bike paths.
Mayor Steve Arnold will be out greeting riders before joining the Wisconsin Bike Federation’s Community Ride at 7:15 a.m. to the Capitol Square location of Colectivo Coffee Roasters. In addition to Mayor Arnold, join local community leaders such as Michael Johnson, CEO of the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County and Peter Gray, board chair of the Wisconsin Bike Fed.
