    A 20-minute storytime for babies and toddlers featuring stories, songs, bounces, and rhymes. Followed by a 15-minute social time for caregivers and playtime for babies and toddlers. No registration is required.

  2. Extreme Tween Sewing

    Who says sewing is a lost art? This is not your grandma's sewing club (but do invite her, as we could use several experienced volunteers!). Join us to start an upcycled blue jean project. Bring a pair or two of old blue jeans if you are able. Open to tweens ages 9-12.

  3. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten 2nd Birthday Party

    Come celebrate with us as our "1000 Books Before Kindergarten" program turns "2" this month! All are welcome to enjoy birthday stories and surprises at the library including a special visit from local author Pat Zietlow Miller, the creator of the award-winning picture book "Sophie's Squash." We'll also honor 1000 Books graduates from the past year during a ceremony. Recommended for ages 2-5. No registration required.

    Join us at the Fitchburg Public Library for an awesome guys night with books, popcorn, and root beer! Copies of the selected book will be available for checkout behind the youth services desk. Recommended for gents ages 9-12 years. *This will be our last Guys Read until the fall as we will be taking a break during the summer.*
