  1. VIRTUAL PROGRAM - Write Your Family History @ Home - Three Week Workshop

    July 16, 2020, 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM @ Fitchburg Public Library

Imagine Your Story! Learn to create lively, richly detailed stories for future generations to enjoy as you are taught by personal historian and author, Sarah White in this workshop for adults. This class will be taught virtually via Zoom (login from your own device at home). In this workshop for beginning writers, we explore how to write and share stories that reveal your family’s formative experiences, values, and life lessons. We will spend three sessions discussing how to find the stories worth telling; how to convey the essence of people, places and events; and how to share your work with others! For each class meeting, students write a few pages. Each class meeting includes time to share writing in a supportive environment. Virtual class at home via Zoom. Participants must email library.reference@fitchburgwi.gov register. Registration is limited.
