  1. MMSD Summer Food Program

    July 13, 2017, All Day @ Leopold Elementary School

    The MMSD Summer Food Program provides free meals to all children ages 18 and younger at around 50 sites across the Madison area. At Leopold Elementary, breakfast and lunch will be served every day. Any and all children may eat these meals for free at Leopold, and they do not need to be signed up for summer school.

    The Fitchburg Public Library will offer a wide variety of free programming that will include lunch and a snack through the MMSD's Summer Food Program. Activities are geared for children in grades K-5, but all are welcome.

  3. FItchburg Center Farmers Market

    July 13, 2017, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Agora Pavilion

    This community market, launched in 1998, has been steadily growing in size, diversity and following ever since. Located under the iconic Agora Pavilion, shoppers can stroll through the abundance of each season’s color and vibrancy. Visit with neighbors and friends while enjoying the beautiful prairie and pond setting. The market draws an average of 25 vendors from all over Southern Wisconsin selling everything from produce to flowers to baked goods and more. Watch for special events on the third Thursday of each month featuring local charities, demonstrations and live music.

  4. YMCA Summer Sports at Leopold

    The YMCA will be offering summer sports, held at Leopold. There will be different sport activities each week for Leopold Elementary students. Registration may be completed at any time throughout the summer, and also may be done upon arrival.

    This year's theme (for all ages) is Build a Better World. For adults, stop in and fill out reviews for books you have read or listened to. For each review, you'll win a chance for either a $50 gift card to Target, a $50 gift card to Kneaded Relief, or a $40 charitable donation to Habitat for Humanity, Heifer International, or Doctors Without Borders (plus a $10 treat for you).
