On 02/15/2018, at approximately 6:45 pm, a subject in Juneau County WI received a phone call from an unknown subject. The suspect stated he was going to “shoot up a school”. The suspect identified the name of a school. That school does not exist in Juneau County, WI or Wisconsin. Juneau County Deputies were able to locate the call originated from a residence in the 2400 block of Post Rd, in the City of Fitchburg.
On 02/16/2018, at 4:40 am, a search warrant was executed on the residence where the phone call originated from. The suspect was located. The suspect confirmed that it was a prank call. The suspect dialed the wrong number. A search of the residence did not reveal any evidence that the threat was valid. No weapons were found in the residence.
The suspect was identified as being a 14-year male. He was taken into custody for Making a Terrorist Threat and transported to Dane County Juvenile Reception Center and was held for court.

Making a Terrorist Threat is a class I felony and is punishable by up to 3.5 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
