The second session will be held on Wednesday, May 2, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Leopold Elementary School, located at 2602 Post Road, in Madison.
The final session will be held on Wednesday, May 23, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Fitchburg Public Library, located at 5530 Lacy Road.
In January 2018, Chief Chad Brecklin was sworn in as only the third Chief of Police in the history of the City of Fitchburg. An eighteen year member of the department, Chief Brecklin is committed to leading an agency built on service, respect, trust, and transparency, that is responsive to the community it is privileged to serve.
The goal of these listening sessions is to provide community members a forum to ask questions, meet Chief Brecklin and to provide feedback to aid in guiding the future efforts of the Fitchburg Police Department.
Following a brief presentation to familiarize community members with the department and its activities, the sessions will be open to community members to ask questions, share concerns and engage with Chief Brecklin and other department personnel.
