On September 8, 2020, at approximately 4:45 a.m., Fitchburg Police responded to the Kelley Williamson Mobil gas station at 2956 Fish Hatchery Rd. for a hold up alarm. Officers arrived and learned the clerk was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money. After being given an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene. A K9 track was conducted, however, the suspect was not immediately located. Fitchburg Police was assisted by the Madison Police Department K9 and the Town of Madison Police. There were no injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
Suspect Description: A black male in his twenties, approximately 5’10" with a slender build, wearing a blue jogging suit, black mask, and white head covering.
