Trick-or-Treating Recommendation and Resources

With Halloween approaching, the City of Fitchburg recommends community members closely monitor guidance from Public Health Madison & Dane County to inform decisions about trick-or-treat participation. For those choosing to participate in trick-or treat activities, suggested hours of participation are 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 31. Households wishing to distribute treats should clearly indicate their participation by turning on a porch or front yard light. Public Health Madison & Dane County has provided a tip sheet to help keep trick-or-treating participants safe and healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
