Join the City of Fitchburg Resource Conservation Commission for a fun and informative event at the Fitchburg Library on Tuesday, June 17th from 6:00–7:30 PM.
Did you know over 30% of what ends up in the Dane County Landfill is organic material that could be composted? At this event, you’ll learn simple steps to reduce food waste, discover local food scrap drop-off sites, get tips on home composting, and hear from a local farmer using compost to grow food in community gardens.
