FIRST INCIDENT
On November 3, 2015, at approximately 9:00 p.m. an attempted armed robbery occurred in the 5100 block of Anton Drive. The suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with red writing on the front, with the hood covering most of his face. The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20’s, approximately 6’2”tall and slender build. The suspect approached the victim and demanded money. The victim did not have any items stolen from him and the suspect ran away.
SECOND INCIDENT
Approximately 15-20 minutes later there was a second attempted armed robbery in the 6200 block of Mckee Road. The suspect approached the victim’s vehicle in a parking lot and pointed a handgun at the victim. The victim drove away from the location. The suspect was again armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and was wearing all black. The suspect in the second incidentt was described as being a black male in his late teens, approximately 5’6” to 5’ 8” tall and with a very slender build.
There were no injuries reported in either incident and the investigation is ongoing. Please contact the Fitchburg Police Department if you have any information regarding these attempted robberies.
