The suspect in today's bank robbery at BMO Harris Bank on Fish Hatchery Road was taken into custody this evening around 6:00 p.m.. Quincy M. Dixon, 24, of Fitchburg, was arrested by Fitchburg officers in the City of Madison. Dixon was booked into the Dane County Jail for a parole violation while the incident remains under investigation.
The Fitchburg Police Department was assisted in this investigation by the City of Madison Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

On December 4, 2017 at 10:56 a.m. the City of Fitchburg Police Department responded to an armed bank robbery at BMO Harris Bank, located at 2900 Fish Hatchery Road. Upon arrival officers learned the suspect had already left the bank. The suspect was described as a black male, wearing a black hoodie, stocking cap, and black pants. The suspect passed a note demanding money, the suspect is believed to have a weapon, however it wasn't displayed. The suspect fled the bank on foot and ran in a westerly direction. The City of Madison Police Department responded with a K-9 and initiated a track, but was unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is at large and should be considered armed an dangerous. Anyone with information should contact the Fitchburg Police Department.
