Here is what's coming up this week at your library:
Monday, February 11
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 9:30 a.m.
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m.
  • I Survived @ the Library (ages 5-12) @ 6:00 p.m. Come and learn the skills that you would need to survive a blizzard! Based on I Survived the Children’s Blizzard of 1888, we will do fun activities testing our survival skills! Recommended for ages 5-12.
Tuesday, February 12
  • Lapsit Storytime (ages 0-2) @ 11:00 a.m.
Wednesday, February 13
  • Toddler Art (ages 1-3) @ 10:00 a.m. Explore and play with fun art materials! Children will practice fine motor skills as they engage in process art. Parents are encouraged to stop in at various times throughout the hour. Be prepared to get messy! Please bring smocks or "messy clothes" for your child. For children ages 1-3.
Friday, February 15
  • Sensory Play Time (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a.m. Drop in and explore a variety of sensory activities that will stimulate your child’s mind. Sensory play, discovery and gross motor activities will be provided for an hour and a half of sensory fun. Recommended for children ages 2-5.
  • Dog Man Party (ages 5-12) @ 4:00 p.m. Join us for crafts, activities, a scavenger hunt and more at this party especially for fans of the Dog Man series by Dav Pilkey! Recommended for ages 5-12.
Saturday, February 16
  • Drop In Art (ages 5-12) @ 11:00 a.m. Drop in and explore some different art techniques. Come in and create your masterpiece! Ages 5-12. 
Don't forget to pick up a Winter Reading Bingo card at the Children's desk! We have cards for Read-to-Me, Readers and Teens. Children must be 2 years old and older to participate. It is a great opportunity to do early literacy activities during the cold winter months! Complete the activities to win prizes and free books!
Winter Reading Bingo runs from January 2- February 28, 2019.
