Here is what's coming up this week at your library:
Friday, September 20
  • Tape Town (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a.m. Drop in any time from 10:30-12:30 to 'drive' around our Tape Town! We'll have plenty of tape 'roads' connecting different parts of our interactive town. Use our toy cars and trucks, or bring your own!
Saturday, September 21
  • Do Re Read Mi a Story (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a.m. Dance, wiggle and sing along at our fun storytime for young movers. Recommended for toddlers and preschoolers who love to move!
  • Kids Movie: How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World @ 2:00 p.m. Join us in the Storytime Room for popcorn and a movie! Rated PG. 104 minutes.
Monday, September 23
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 9:30 a.m.
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m.
Tuesday, September 24
  • Lapsit Storytime- CANCELLED
Wednesday, September 25
  • Toddler Art (ages 1-3) @ 10:00 a.m. Explore and play with fun art materials! Children will practice fine motor skills as they engage in process art or create crafts. Parents are encouraged to stop in at various times throughout the hour. Be prepared to get messy! Please bring smocks or "messy clothes" for your child.
Thursday, September 26
  • STEAM Power (ages 2-5) @ 10:00 a.m. Join us at the library for a STEAM Power storytime and exploration. We will have a short storytime then explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math based on the themes in the books.
  • Bouncing Babies (ages 0-1) @ 1:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 28
  • Circuits: Squishy and Snap (ages 5-12) @ 3:00 p.m. Are your kids interested in learning how electronics work? If so, Circuit Science could be the perfect program! During the Circuit Science program, kids will have the opportunity to construct a circuit projects using Snap Circuits or Squishy Circuits! Children’s staff will be around to help. Kids ages 5-8 will require parent guidance during the program. Registration required. Please call the Youth Services Desk at 608-729-1762. *Spaces are still available!
