Here is what's coming up this week at your library:
Monday, October 14
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 9:30 a.m.
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m.
Tuesday, October 15
  • Lapsit Storytime (ages 0-2) @ 11:00 a.m.
  • READ to a Dog (ages 5-12) @ 5:00 p.m. Reading to a dog is a wonderful way to build reading skills and confidence. Independent readers in grades K-5 can sign-up for a 20 minute spot to sit down and read to a registered therapy animal. *Registration required. Call 608-729-1762 or stop by the Youth Services desk. *Spaces are still available!
Wednesday, October 16
  • Toddler Art (ages 1-3) @ 10:00 a.m. Explore and play with fun art materials! Children will practice fine motor skills as they engage in process art or create crafts. Parents are encouraged to stop in at various times throughout the hour. Be prepared to get messy!
Thursday, October 17
  • Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a.m. Come join the professionals of CI Pediatric Therapy Centers for books, activities, and fun! Open to children ages 2-5 and their parents/caregivers. • Learn how to enhance your child’s language skills through reading. • Learn how to incorporate songs and motor activities with books. • Language and motor developmental milestones will be provided. • Opportunity to ask questions about your child’s development. • Led by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist.
  • UnBookclub! (ages 9-12) @ 6:00 p.m.Welcome to the UnBookclub!! Read a book from our monthly genre and come ready to have fun with discussion, snack and craft! For October, let’s discuss a horror book!
Friday, October 18
  • Unbirthday Party (ages 5-12) @ 4:00 p.m. Any day is good for a birthday party, even if it's not your birthday...right? Join us at the library for super fun birthday party games, snacks, and crafts!
