Friday, October 18
Unbirthday Party (ages 5-12) @ 4:00 p.m. Any day is good for a birthday party, even if it's not your birthday...right? Join us at the library for super fun birthday party games, snacks, and crafts!
Monday, October 21
Preschool Art (ages 2-5) @ 10:00 a.m. Explore and play with fun art materials! Art activities will help your little ones master fine-motor skills and help them learn about cause and effect as they make changes in materials (and a lot of mess!).
Pumpkin Bowling (ages 5-12) @ 6:00 p.m. Join in some Halloween-themed bowling! Try to knock over the ghostly bowling pins with a rolling pumpkin or gourd. Registration is required. Please call the Youth Desk at 608-729-1762. *Spaces are still available!
Tuesday, October 22
National Color Day (ages 5-12) @ 6:00 p.m. It's National Color Day! Transform a night-time scene by adding color and light to black lines. The result will be an interactive piece of art!
Wednesday, October 23
Family Pajama Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 6:00 p.m. Family Pajama Storytime is a super fun evening program, focused on winding down for the night. Featuring stories, songs and movement activities followed by a short craft all in your PJs. Parents, leave the bedtime routine to us!
Thursday, October 24
Bouncing Halloween Babies (ages 0-1) @ 1:00 p.m. Bring your baby, in costume, to the Halloween edition of Bouncing Babies! This program will have lap rhymes, songs, stories and fun! After the program, enjoy social time with other parents/caregivers and tummy time for the babies. This program is ideal for pre-walkers, starting at birth.
Saturday, October 26
Halloween Hunt @ 6:00 p.m. Boo! The Fitchburg Public Library will be hosting the 12th annual Great Halloween Hunt from 6:00-9:30 p.m. at the library. Activities include a scavenger hunt, crafts and games, a magician, balloon twisters, and a movie.
6-8 p.m.: Scavenger Hunt, Balloon Twisting, Crafts & Games
6:15-6:45 p.m. & 7-7:30 pm: Magic Shows
8-9:30 p.m.: Movie: The Incredibles
