  • Stuffed Animal Sleepover Pickup @ 10:30 a. m. Pick up your stuffed animal friend and check out what they were up to all night!
Saturday, February 29
  • Leap Day Celebration (ages 9-12) @ 11:00 a. m. It's Leap Day! Come and join us as we play games, make a time capsule, and eat a fun snack!
Monday, March 2
  • Magazine Poetry (ages 9-12) @ 6:00 p. m. Make beautiful poems using words cut out from old magazines. Words will be provided, you bring your creativity.
Tuesday, March 3
  • Pot 'O Gold Slime (ages 9-12) @ 6:00 p. m. Come celebrate the luck of the Irish and make some Pot 'O Gold Slime just in time for St. Patrick's Day! *Registration required. Please call the Youth Services Desk at 608-729-1762.
Wednesday, March 4
  • Explorastory! (ages 1-3) @ 10:00 a. m. Join us each month to explore one book, in-depth, through hands-on activities. Discovery encouraged. Next up—Stuck! Join Floyd in his silly story of determination and be equally as inventive through cause and effect play!
  • Family Pajama Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 6:00 p. m. Family Pajama Storytime is a super fun evening program, focused on winding down for the night. Featuring stories, songs and movement activities followed by a short craft all in your PJs. Parents, leave the bedtime routine to us!
Thursday, March 5 
  • R.E.A.D. to a Dog (ages 5-12) @ 5:00 p. m. Reading to a dog is a wonderful way to build reading skills and confidence. Independent readers in grades K-5 can sign-up for a 20 minute spot to sit down and read to a registered therapy animal. *Registration is required. Call 608-729-1762 or stop by the Youth Services desk.
Friday, March 6
  • I Spy STEM (ages 5-12) @ 4:00 p. m. Is your child a whiz at finding Waldo, hidden pictures, I Spy or word searches? Here’s his or her chance to shine! Children will have fun solving various STEM-influenced puzzles. They won’t even realize they’re enhancing visual discrimination, building memory, developing sorting, recognition and observation skills and so much more! Please arrive promptly to ensure ample time to rotate through all activities.
Saturday, March 7
  • Build It! (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a. m. Calling all budding architects! Come to the library for a building workshop! Build bridges, towers and more with various materials.
