Here is what's coming up this week at your library:
Friday, March 8
  • Bug Stories (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m.  Come listen to stories about bugs of all kinds. Recommended for ages 2-5 and their siblings.
  • Perler Beads (ages 5-12) @ 4:00 p.m. Drop down to the Fitchburg Public Library for a fun afternoon with perler beads! Recommended for ages 5-12. No registration required.
Saturday, March 9
  • STEAM Build: Leprechaun Traps (ages 4 and up) @ 10:00 a.m. St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner. Have you ever seen a leprechaun? Do you think you can trap one? Come to the library and put your building skills to test! 
Monday, March 11
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @  9:30 a.m.
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m.
  • Flashlight Storytime (ages 5-8) @ 6:00 p.m. Lights out! Join us for a storytime where hidden illustrations are revealed and book pages become life-sized images. Leave with your own shadow puppet! Attendees should be comfortable in the dark.

Tuesday, March 12
  • Lapsit Storytime (ages 0-2) @ 11:00 a.m. 
Wednesday, March 13
  • Toddler Dance Party (ages 1-3) @ 10:30 a.m.  Come shake your sillies out and dance with friends. Ages 1-3 and parents or caregivers.
  • We Are in a Book Club! (ages 5-8) @ 6:00 p.m. Calling all kids ages 5-8 who love to read and make new friends. Join Fitchburg- area youth for good books, yummy snacks, and fun activities. Let’s read and discuss the book chosen during last months meeting! And just like Elephant and Piggie let's declare with pride, "WE ARE IN A BOOK CLUB!"
Thursday, March 14
  •  Bouncing Babies (ages 0-1) @ 1:00 p.m. This program will have lap rhymes, songs, stories and fun! After the program, enjoy social time with other parents/caregivers and tummy time for the babies. This program is ideal for prewalkers, starting at birth.
Saturday, March 16
  • St. Patrick's Day Party (ages 5-12) @ 3:00 p.m. Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the library with crafts, activities, and more!
