Hi Everyone,

Here is what's coming up this week at your library:
Friday, May 11
  • Mother's Day Crafts (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m. Drop down to the Fitchburg Library and enjoy making a craft for the mommy in your life! Recommended for children ages 2-5 years old.
Monday, May 13
  • Preschool Art (ages 2-5) @ 10:00 a.m. Explore and play with fun art materials! Art activities will help your little ones master fine-motor skills and help them learn about cause and effect as they make changes in materials (and a lot of mess!).
  • Strong is the New Pretty (ages 9-12) @ 6:00 p.m. Based on the book, Strong is the New Pretty, we’ll explore how pretty is being strong and strong is many things: being confident, resilient, kind, independent and creative. Girls and boys who attend will make a positive self-talk bracelet and leave with Kate T. Parker’s message that, “Real beauty is about being your authentic self, and owning it.”
Wednesday, May 15
  • Toddler Time (ages 1-3) @ 10:00 a.m. It’s time for your little one to explore new materials and concepts! He or she will build fine motor skills and use his or her senses to discover textures, shapes, colors and so much more!
  • Family Pajama Time (ages 2-5) @ 6:00 p.m. Family Pajama Storytime is a super fun evening program, focused on winding down for the night. Featuring stories, songs and movement activities followed by a short craft all in your PJs. Parents, leave the bedtime routine to us!
Thursday, May 16
  • Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a.m. Come join the professionals of CI Pediatric Therapy Centers for books, activities, and fun! Open to children ages 2-5 and their parents/caregivers. • Learn how to enhance your child’s language skills through reading. • Learn how to incorporate songs and motor activities with books. • Language and motor developmental milestones will be provided. • Opportunity to ask questions about your child’s development. • Led by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist.
  • UNBookclub! (ages 9-12) @ 6:00 p.m. Welcome to the UNBookclub!! Read a book from our monthly genre and come ready to have fun with discussion, snack and craft! For our final book club before summer break in May, let’s read a TBD book and do an awesome craft! Recommended for tweens ages 9-12.
