Friday, June 21
  • Summer Reading! (June 14-August 9) Don't forget to pick up your summer reading folder and get started earning prizes for reading!
  • Silly Stories and Playtime (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a.m. Enjoy a morning of silly stories, song and fun followed by a fun playtime in the storytime room.
  • Ice Cream Taste Test (ages 5-12) @ 3:00 p.m. We all scream for ice cream, but what flavors and brands do you love the most? Sample your way through our taste test and tell us your favorites. Recommended for children ages 5-12.
Monday, June 24
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 9:30 a.m. 
  • Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m.
  • Universe of STEAM: Technology (ages 5-12) @ 4:00 p.m. Join us as we explore our universe through fun STEAM projects and activities! For this session, we'll focus on learning through technology! We'll engage with Spheros, Makey Makey and more. Recommended for ages 5-12.
Tuesday, June 25
  • Lapsit Storytime (ages 0-2) @ 11:00 a.m. 
  • Truly Remarkable Loon (all ages) @ 2:00 p.m. Join us a the Fitchburg Library for the wacky stunts, sidesplitting comedy, gravity-defying plate spinning and spectacular juggling of Madison’s craziest purple guy, Truly Remarkable Loon! Recommended for families with children of all ages!
Wednesday, June 26
  • LEGO Challenge (ages 5-12) @ 3:00 p.m. Are you up to the challenge?? Can you build a plane, an animal or a 50 block tower using only one color? Challenge your friends and see who is up to the test! Recommended for children ages 5-12.
  • Family Pajama Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 6:00 p.m. Family Pajama Storytime is a super fun evening program, focused on winding down for the night. Featuring stories, songs and movement activities followed by a short craft all in your PJs. Parents, leave the bedtime routine to us! 
Thursday, June 27
  • Touch-a-Truck (all ages) @ 10:00 a.m. Join us at the Fitchburg Library as we welcome our friends from Fitchburg Public Works, Fire Rescue, Police Department and Wingra Stone! You'll get to see and touch real live diggers, a Fitchburg Fire and Rescue fire engine, a Fitch-Rona EMS ambulance and a Fitchburg Police Department vehicle. You may even have a chance to meet K9 Drago! Pop into the Storytime room for construction themed activities, too. All ages welcome!
Friday, June 28
  • 4th of July Crafts (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m. With Independence Day around the corner, come and make some festive crafts at the library! Drop in any time during the hour to make your crafts! Recommended for children 2-5. 
  • Build a Rocket (ages 5-8) @ 4:00 p.m. 3-2-1 Blast off! Stop in throughout the hour to create a small rocket from household supplies. Take it home to watch it launch over and over again! Ages 5-8 years.
Saturday, June 29
  • Do Re Mi a Story (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a.m. Dance, wiggle and sing along at our fun storytime for young movers. Recommended for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2-5 years who love to move!
