Hi Everyone,

Here are some exciting registration event for children in July. To register for one or more of these programs, please call 608-729-1762 or stop at the children's desk.

Friday, July 5
  • Train Party! (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m. Choo Choo! All Aboard for train books, songs, crafts, and play time that builds early literacy skills. Your little engineer(s) ages 2-5 won’t want to miss this event!
Friday, July 12
  • Universe of GOO (ages 9-12) @ 4:00 p.m. Create your own galaxy GOO! We'll make gooey slime inspired by outer space! All materials will be provided. For ages 9-12.
Tuesday, July 23
  • Planetarium ages (5-12) @ 11:00 a.m. / 1:00 p.m. / 3:00 p.m. Come to the Fitchburg Public Library and learn about the seasons, constellations, planets, and more! Kids ages 5-12 will enter a Starlab Portable Planetarium and see the night sky. A projector displays more than a thousand stars, the sun, and the moon onto the inner surface of the dome. Space is limited so registration is required.
Friday, July 26
  • Nerf Lock-In (ages 9-12) @ 6:00 p.m. Get Locked in at the library! Challenge your friends to a nerf battle, enjoy some pizza and treat, and relax to a movie! Recommended for kids ages 9-12.
Monday, July 29
  • Planetary Cake Pops (Ages 9-12) @ 6:00 p.m. Come to the library and make delicious cake pops that look like planets! Decorate your cake pop to look like planets, space or the universe and then eat your tasty treat! Ages 9-12.
Tuesday, July 30 & Wednesday, July 31
  • Zombie Spheros (ages 9-12) @ 3:00 p.m. Come to the Fitchburg Public Library and engage with the Sphero robots! Sphero, a robotic sphere, is designed to inspire children to engage with STEAM skills through creative play. This session we will play a crazy game of zombie tag with the lights off! Recommended for kids ages 9-12. Please sign up for either Tuesday OR Wednesday program.
