Here is what's coming up this week at your library:
Saturday, July 6
Start Your Engines (ages 5-12) @ 10:30 a.m. Daytona International Speedway may be a distance from WI, but you can still get your race car driving in this summer! Zoom down a ramp, create a tape track, build a toy car wash or simply play on a road mat. Please BYO clearly labeled Hot Wheels or Matchbox cars.

Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 9:30 a.m.
Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m.
Universe of STEAM: Engineering (ages 5-12) @ 4:00 p.m. Join us as we explore our universe through fun STEAM projects and activities! For this session, we'll focus on learning through engineering!

Lapsit Storytime (ages 0-2) @ 11:00 a.m.
Yo-Yo Show with Mark Hayward @ 2:00 p.m. Stop down to the Fitchburg Public Library for an amazing afternoon with Mark Hayward. Enjoy yo-yo tricks and humor for the whole family!
Wednesday, July 10
Toddler Dance Party! (ages 1-3) @ 10:00 a.m. Come shake your sillies out and dance with friends. Ages 1-3 and parents or caregivers.
Family Night (all ages) @ 6:00 p.m. Something for the whole family! Watch a real live astronaut read a story from space, and work with your family on a challenge to build a lander to get them home safely.
Friday, July 12
Book Boogie (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m. Boogie on down to the Fitchburg Public Library for a morning filled with books, dancing, crafts and more! If you love music and movement, this is the program for you. Recommended for toddlers and preschoolers who love to move.
Universe of GOO (ages 9-12) @ 4:00 p.m. Create your own galaxy GOO! We'll make gooey slime inspired by outer space! All materials will be provided. Registration is required. Please call the Youth Desk at 608-729-1762 to register. *Spaces are still available!
Saturday, July 13
Galaxy Goop (ages 5-8) @ 11:00 a.m. What’s the goopiest thing in the galaxy? Come to the library and make your own galaxy slime!
