Friday, January 10
Book Boogie (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a.m. Boogie on down to the Fitchburg Public Library for a morning filled with books, dancing, crafts and more! If you love music and movement, this is the program for you. Recommended for toddlers and preschoolers who love to move.
Saturday, January 11
Yoga for Kids (ages 9-12) @ 11:00 a.m. Throw on some comfy clothes and bring a blanket or towel to the Fitchburg Library to practice some yoga! Stretch along to a yoga video for kids and leave feeling refreshed and renewed.
Monday, January 13
Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 9:30 a. m.
Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a. m.
Snow Science (ages 5-12) @ 4:00 p. m. Do you like snow and science? Join us at the library for Snow Science! We'll conduct chilly experiments and learn all about snow and ice.
Tuesday, January 14
Lapsit Storytime (ages 0-2) @ 11:00 a. m. A 25 minute storytime for babies and toddlers featuring stories, songs, bounces, and rhymes. Followed by a 15 minutes social time for caregivers and playtime for babies and toddlers. No registration required.
Wednesday, January 15
Winter Themed Toddler Time (ages 1-3) @ 10:00 a. m. It’s time for your little one to explore new materials and concepts! He or she will build both fine and gross motor skills as well as use his or her senses to discover textures, shapes, colors and so much more!
Family Pajama Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 6:00 p. m. Family Pajama Storytime is a super fun evening program, focused on winding down for the night. Featuring stories, songs and movement activities followed by a short craft all in your PJs. Parents, leave the bedtime routine to us!
Thursday, January 16
Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a. m. Come join the professionals of CI Pediatric Therapy Centers for books, activities, and fun! Open to children ages 2-5 and their parents/caregivers. • Learn how to enhance your child’s language skills through reading. • Learn how to incorporate songs and motor activities with books. • Language and motor developmental milestones will be provided. • Opportunity to ask questions about your child’s development. • Led by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and Occupational Therapist.
Bouncing Babies (ages 0-1) @ 1:00 p. m. This program will have lap rhymes, songs, stories and fun! After the program, enjoy social time with other parents/caregivers and tummy time for the babies. This program is ideal for prewalkers, starting at birth.
Unbookclub! (ages 9-12) @ 6:00 p. m. Welcome to the UNBookclub!! Read a book from our monthly genre and come ready to have fun with discussion, snack and craft! For January, let’s read a adventure book and do an awesome craft!
Friday, January 17
Finger Painting (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a. m. Join the Fitchburg Public Library in some finger painting fun! Please wear old clothing and be prepared to get a little messy.
