Friday, January 17
Finger Painting (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a. m. Join the Fitchburg Public Library in some finger painting fun! Please wear old clothing and be prepared to get a little messy.
Monday, January 20
Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 9:30 a. m.
Preschool Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a. m.
Glow-in-the-Dark Party! (ages 5-12) @ 6:00 p. m. These long winter nights won’t keep us from partying! Come to Fitchburg Public Library to play games and get your glow on! Participants must be comfortable in the dark.
Tuesday, January 21
Lapsit Storytime (ages 0-2) @ 11:00 a. m. A 20-minute storytime for babies and toddlers featuring stories, songs, bounces, and rhymes. Followed by a 15-minute social time for caregivers and playtime for babies and toddlers. No registration is required.
READ to a Dog (ages 5-12) @ 5:00 p. m. Reading to a dog is a wonderful way to build reading skills and confidence. Independent readers in grades K-5 can sign-up for a 20 minute spot to sit down and read to a registered therapy animal. *Registration is required. Call 608-729-1762 or stop by the Youth Services desk.
Wednesday, January 22
Family PJ Storytime (ages 2-5) @ 6:00 p. m. Family Pajama Storytime is a super fun evening program, focused on winding down for the night. Featuring stories, songs and movement activities followed by a short craft all in your PJs. Parents, leave the bedtime routine to us!
Thursday, January 23
STEAM Power (ages 2-5) @ 10:00 a. m. Join us at the library for a STEAM Power storytime and exploration. We will have a short storytime then explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math based on the themes in the books.
Friday, January 24
Snow Crafts (ages 2-5) @ 11:00 a. m. Enjoy a morning of snowy crafts with your child! Make a craft to decorate your home. Registration is not required.
Saturday, January 25
Teddy Bear Picnic (ages 2-5) @ 10:30 a. m. Bring your teddy bear or stuffie to visit the library and join you for a short storytime and indoor picnic, crafts, and fun!
