Tuesday, May 4
  • Cinco de Mayo Mini Pinata - Head over to the Fitchburg Public Library's Facebook Page to access a video on how to create a mini pinata to add to your Cinco de Mayo fiesta!
  • Take Home Tuesday - Activity bags for ages 2-5 and 6-12 are available outside the library's main entrance starting at 10:00 a.m. each Tuesday. One per child, while supplies last. Please wear a mask when you pick up, thank you!

  • Monster Masks - Paper plates have so many fun and creative uses! Throughout the month of May, join us in exploring paper plate crafts for all ages and interests. This week, learn how to transform a plain paper plate into a monster mask! Find the video tutorial online at the Fitchburg Public Library's Facebook page.
Thursday, May 6
  • Summer Scavenger Hunt! - Get outside for a summer scavenger hunt as the weather gets nicer. This video will give you hints and clues for some cool things to look for.

  • Story and a Snack - Caterpillars! - Visit the Fitchburg Public Library's Facebook page to access a video showcasing spring books about caterpillars and instructions on how to make a caterpillar snack!
Ongoing Programs
  • Grab Bags - Do you miss browsing the stacks? Tell us what kind of books you're looking for and a librarian will pick them out for you. Follow this link and fill out an order form.
  • 1000 Books Before Kindergarten - Check out this free program that is designed to develop early literacy skills in children from birth until Kindergarten. Get started by signing up on Beanstack.
